Location. Westin Chicago Northwest is in Itasca, Ill., three miles from the Schaumburg/Woodfield Business District. The hotel is less than two miles from Pirates Cove Theme Park. Woodfield Shopping Mall is five miles away.
Hotel Featuers. Westin Chicago Northwest is adjacent to a private lake, the site of more than 100 weddings a year. In the 12 story atrium lobby, Asian lions flank the entrance. The lobby has tables and taupe corduroy couches adorned with red pillows with Asian lettering. The hotel features Shula's Steak House and No Name Lounge. The lounge is owned by Don Shula, the former coach of pro football's Miami Dolphins. Menus with American cuisine are printed on footballs, and black and white football photos cover the walls.
