Description
The Gulfstream IV, also known as the G400, supersedes its processors in flight range by nearly 600 miles. This makes the Gulfstream IV an excellent aircraft for transcontinental and intercontinental charter. The Gulfstream cruises at 490 mph and reaches up to 4,237 miles. Able to accommodate up to 13 passengers, the G400 has a full lavatory and interior cabin dimensions of 7.3W x 45.1L x 6.1H. The G400 is also upgraded by a larger and greatly improved cabin. The greater interior space is due to the lengthened fuselage. This enabled the cabin to have an extra window on each side, now containing six circular windows on each side.
The most popular large cabin heavy jet is also considered the most safe and reliable business jet. The Gulfstream IV-SP has such a renowned reputation that the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration uses one for hurricane tracking. Able to accommodate up to 14 passengers, the interior contains a full private lavatory, a full galley and dining area.
