Description
Upon the 32nd anniversary of the original Learjet, Bombardier’s first flight of the Learjet 40 was in 1995, followed by FAA certification of the 40 in 1997 and introduced to the market in 2003. The Learjet 40 is modeled and designed to travel at higher altitudes than its predecessors. The Learjet 40 typically seats seven or eight passengers, cruises at 464 mph, and has a range of 1,692 miles.
